Hole 9 - Par 5

The ninth is a demanding uphill par 5 that rewards committed, well-positioned shots from tee to green.

Water guards the left and right side of the opening drive, while players who carry beyond it must then contend with pine forest on the left. Although the landing area opens beyond these hazards to the right, the climb and surrounding trouble make accuracy just as important as distance.

The fairway narrows significantly around 130 metres from the green, with large rocks protecting the left side and tall trees tightening the approach from the right. Careful positioning is essential, particularly for players choosing to lay up.

The green is guarded by two bunkers along the left side, one short and another midway back while shots finishing long can fall sharply away. A large angled tier runs through the centre of the putting surface, and even the individual levels contain strong breaks. Finding the correct section of the green is critical to finishing the outward nine successfully.
