Hole 16 - Par 3
Blue Tee: 143m | Red Tee: 132m
The sixteenth may be short, but it can quickly expose any mistake in distance or direction.
The green slopes strongly from back to front, while the front edge falls away sharply into a deep low area, making any shot that comes up short particularly difficult to recover from. Two bunkers add further protection, with one positioned short-right and another on the left.
Long is no bargain either, with a grass bunker behind the green making recovery from an overhit tee shot almost impossible.
The safest play is to find the heart of the putting surface and leave the ball below the hole. On a green with this much slope, controlling both distance and position is the key to making par.
