Regards Greg Martin, Secretary
Good evening, all members
I am really happy to announce that with some humorous help from his wife that Geoff Adamson has agreed to lead a team of helpers as our male captain. I'm sure he will do a great job. Thanks, Geoff.
Also, to join our committee as secretary is Greg Martin, who I'm sure will also do an amazing job. I consider this to be one of the most important jobs of the committee.
Thanks, Greg.
I would firstly like to thank you all for having the confidence in me to lead the club for the coming year.
I would also like to thank the outgoing committee lead by Mark. I think he has done an awesome job along with all of his team in such difficult circumstances. I would also like to welcome the new committee members. I think we have a good mix of ages and experience. I am excited and really looking forward to working with you all.
Over the past two or three years, there has been a division within the club, quite noticeable.
I would like to think that as a club we can eliminate this problem.
We need to forget and let go of the past. Right or wrong, it is in the past.
When I was introduced to BPGC by Nev Dewhurst, I was immediately impressed with the people in the club and how they went out of their way to make you welcome.
I would like to think that we could once again be known as the friendly club. We have something here to be really proud of.
So let's all band together as one, reunite, and make our club the best golf club in and around Bendigo.
Thankyou
Mick Elliott
President BPGC
