Course Recofd for Jazy
Great day out for Jazy Roberts – shot a 63 on Saturday 24th. That is our club’s Course Record. Jazy’s daily handicap at Belvoir Park is -5.
Jazy has had a couple of busy months -
December played in Australian Open and tied at 14th
Came 1st in the Sandbelt Invitational
January - tied 24th at the Australian Master of Amateurs event
Played in TPS Victoria event
Went to Thailand for Asia Pacific Amateur
February saw her win the Championships of Heritage Golf & Country
Last Sunday saw her playing pennant with Heritage Golf and had a solid win of 5 & 4 with her team winning 4 – 3.
Great to see her still finding time to enjoy golf at her home club especially where mum & dad often join her.
Temp changes to 5th Tee
Folks,
A new temporary synthetic grass tee was installed on the 5th hole today to assist players with the current temporary tee arrangement while the new teeing area is being installed. Photo attached to show what the new temporary tee looks like.
Players have the option to use either tee, the bare ground tee or the synthetic tee. Please note that you can’t insert plastic or wooden tees into the synthetic tee.

Course update - 5/1/24
Hello Golfers
GREENS:
We are a little disappointed in the speed of recovery of the greens – it has been slower than expected. We believe this to have been caused by a bug in them – either Pythium or Nematodes – both have now been sprayed. We believe this to be the cause of the dry spots on the greens – especially 13,14,15 and 16. The watering regime has been modified as well.
T- Works:
15th T – Like the greens - slower than predicted – believe the lack of sunlight at that location is impeding speed of growth – while the T looks playable we will be waiting another 6 weeks or so to allow for some consolidation so it does not get torn up on first usage.
5th T – works has commenced today 5/1 and will be out of play for a couple of months – mats have been ordered and should be here next week to make a temporary Tee playable. In the mean time we will make do with what we have.
3,11,8 and 16 will follow but these will be less intrusive as we can keep some of the current surface during the extension works. At least that is the plan before the dumpy level comes out.
We ask for patience while the changes take place – it will be for the greater good.
Good Golfing
