10th Green Action Plan
Dear members
As we know the 10th green has had major couch ingress for a while and is past the point of trying to eradicate the couch from within the green. The only solution we have is to rebuild the green. To this end, an action plan has been developed as below with works to commence in the very near future.
The below is a rough estimate of timing – pending weather and reaction of the green to the works
- Spray green several times between now and November to kill all the grass on the green
- Begin preparing a temporary green.
- Take top off green in about November – down to gravel – temp green in play –
- Spray gravel and let sit for 3 weeks
- Spray again –
- Rebuild green to design
- Hydroseed - January
- Play in 12 weeks after seeding –
Apologies for the inconvenience but it is for the greater good of the course.

Great day out for Jazy Roberts – shot a 63 on Saturday 24th. That is our club’s Course Record. Jazy’s daily handicap at Belvoir Park is -5.
Jazy has had a couple of busy months -
December played in Australian Open and tied at 14th
Came 1st in the Sandbelt Invitational
January - tied 24th at the Australian Master of Amateurs event
Played in TPS Victoria event
Went to Thailand for Asia Pacific Amateur
February saw her win the Championships of Heritage Golf & Country
Last Sunday saw her playing pennant with Heritage Golf and had a solid win of 5 & 4 with her team winning 4 – 3.
Great to see her still finding time to enjoy golf at her home club especially where mum & dad often join her.
